Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my parents house. Sydney was on her best behavior, but of course she still refused to eat the main meal. One of these days! Once she was done eating, she serenaded us with her flute and kazoo playing.

Ants in my pants

So one of Sydney's Christmas present arrived today and....well I had to show her! They are the cutest little snowman slippers. She immediately asked me to put them on her feet. Problem was that she refused to take them off. Good news is that she likes her Christmas present; bad news is that it's only November 25. Ooops.
Just cuz I think she's cute...here are some more pictures.

If you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it *twist fingers into cheeks*. If you're happy and you know it clap your hands.

Cruisin', Slidin' and Sewin'

First and foremost I must share my new found talent, which will be short lived. Apparently I have a knack for creating Advent Calendar ornaments. I have this problem where I research things to death and I'm always looking for THE BEST thing. Well sometimes when I can't find exactly what I'm looking for, I make it myself. Here begins the story of the Advent Calendar. It's not a very exciting story, so I'll spare you. I just finished my first two ornaments and they turned out pretty good. Although I may redo the snowflake. We shall see! It turned out a tad bit larger than I anticipated.

Sydney is loving her new clubhouse. She's all happy that she can climb up the wall by herself and goes down the slide alone too. Currently her favorite activity!

Here's her attire for supervising the construction of the clubhouse. She chooses her own clothes some days. I'm not to be blamed for this.

Pump It Up

We headed over to the local Pump It Up today for our neighbor Megan's 3rd birthday. I absolutely love our neighborhood and everyone in it! I'm still trying to figure out if the adults or the kids had more fun. All I know is that she crashed HARD when we got home. Sydney was loving the cupcakes...she even stole mine!

Climbing up the ladder while Chris micromanages me :)

I wish you could hear Chris finish his sentence with "I'm not sure how good that was with the video because I was scared *beep*less"

She's such a big girl!

Making Up For Lost Time

Sydney had a bad case of the flu last week and of course, projected her flu onto me (literally....twice!). Anyways, we're all back on our feet again and making up for lost time.
I have to get these on here before it's too late. The other day Sydney decided to (once again) take a dip in the pool with her clothes on, so I had to put her in her birthday suit!

We were happy to have a few of our Chitown friends here in Tucson for a weekend. We miss everyone back home (but come visit us here, it's too cold there!) The random golfing/baseball game they made up.....why? Because it's what they do!

Brian testing out the diving board with his mad skills

Sydney taking a break from playing golf with the boys to have a quick game of peek-a-boo with Mommy

Fall Festival at Pusch Ridge playing Stick the Nose On the Pumpkin

Getting a stamp from one of her teachers, Miss Andrea

High School Musical. The girl dances to it for HOURS (yes, HOURS!!)

She refuses to eat anything unless she can feed it to herself. Gives me a bit of a panic attack, but I'm getting better (and so is she). *sigh*

Last but not least...Sydney (with Bubba & her golf clubs) on Picture Day. You think she looks scared, here, you should see the professional shots. *double sigh*
