It's not very often that we see snow in Tucson. In fact, we haven't seen it EVER since we've lived here. That being said, I was extremely shocked to look out my windows and see white flakes falling from the sky. I grabbed my camera thinking no one would ever believe me, and started snapping pictures! I then thought to myself "Hmmm, should I go get Sydney out of school?" Crazy thought, right? What kind of parent would take her child out of school simply because it's snowing? I laughed at myself, but then felt sad, wondering if she would get to see it or play in it. Growing up in Chicago, snow was something we grew tired of. One of the many reasons we moved out to Tucson. I would've never believed you back then if you tried to tell my my children wouldn't be familiar with snow at all. I went back to work until it was time to pick Sydney up. It was almost a ghost town there. Apparently all the other parents took their kids out of school!!! Ugh, I'm a bad mom. Sydney said "Mom!! Why didn't you come get me? All the other parents came!" We came home and THANKFULLY it started to snow again. This time much wetter, but she didn't care. I told her to head out into the yard and have fun!
It was coming down so hard, I couldn't even see the next street over!
It's sticking!
First thing she did was throw a snowball.....and HIT me square in the gut!
Happiness
Had to do it!
But wasn't expecting them to go in her eyes!
