One of the fun things about blogging, is that I get some pretty interesting toys that normally we wouldn't buy. I received this Chuggington Train set, which Sydney was pretty excited to put together. So we put it together as a family and played with it. But of course that was the first and last time it was played with. :) We ended up donating it to Toys for Tots.

This girl's hair has proven to be quite the challenge for me. It sticks straight up and simultaneously goes in her eyes, so I have to put it up. Only problem is that it's so thin and straight that it literally sticks straight up in the air. Syd's hair was always a little heavier and her pony would weigh down. Not this girl! She's a gorgeous horse of another color.

First Day of First Grade!

I can hardly believe that my baby girl is in First Grade!! Ok, yes, I know that she's not a baby anymore, but she will always be my baby girl. She was so excited to see which of her friends would be in her class, and also to make some new friends.

My 37th Birthday!!

I had the most amazing birthday this year!! We went up to Mt. Lemmon for a family lunch. The Murphy family asked to come along with us. First we went out to lunch and had the most INSANE pie and food ever. Then we found some trails and did a little hiking.

The girls thought it would be fun to climb straight up the rock....and then got freaked out and couldn't get back down again

As you can tell, I didn't know we were hiking or I would've worn gym shoes....next time!

Chris took me out for my birthday while Lala and Papa babysat

Chris took me to Jarad's and bought me some gold hoop earrings. Then we went out to a beautiful sunset dinner with my favorite bloody mary

We got home and I found Papa sleeping in the rocking chair with the baby passed out on his chest. I disrupted his slumber with my phone flash.

Then I had my gorgeous baby girl bring me some birthday pie with a candle!!! Loving my life. My heart is so extremely full. I'm very blessed.

Hey, Little Miss Blueberry Face

Pancake Sunday is something fun that Chris does for the kids. Sydney gets her chocolate chip and Addison gets blueberry. I think the pictures prove that she's a very big fan of these pancakes.
