So yeah, March 8, when we noticed a constant wet spot on our master bathroom floor......and an inspector came and found a LOT of black mold and waste from the toilet under the floor. Bunkin' up in the kids rooms!

Ok, so maybe it's a little hard to stop myself from going a little overboard with holidays. It's just way too much fun buying items for two kids. I buy things when I see them and then hold onto them until the next holiday rolls around. Here were the kids baskets this year.

Sydney could barely contain herself about starting the egg hunt. She quickly rummaged through her basket and then set off on the hunt!

We couldn't just stop at inside, they were outside too!

Time to Dye Some Eggs

Sydney is now at the age where she understands holidays and also understand what the traditions are around them. Combine this with the fact that she now also understands what month we are in and the day of the specific holidays and this means that she will remind you 2,908 times that we need to dye Easter eggs soon. Even if that means she wants to dye them three weeks before Easter. I try and hold her off as long as humanly possible, but eventually, she goes shopping with me and sees all the Easter Egg Dying kits at the grocery store. So now, I suck it up, boil as many eggs as I can, throw the tablecloth on the table and we start having some major fun!

Sydney put some major thought into what color each egg should be.

A good portion of Sydney's day consists of her trying to stop Addison from grabbing her hands all over her things. In this case, Syd is in the right. Get your hands off that wet egg, Addison!!!!

Addison needed a break and wanted to head outside for some fresh air after all that hard work.

Chris was out of town for St. Patty's Day this year, but that didn't stop us from going out with a bang (literally). The day started off great with the Murphy's surprising us with some bagels...green ones at that in the morning! Syd was sooooo excited!! Unfortunately what happened after that made me die inside a little. I was changing Addison and the bottom of her drawer had fallen out. I leaned over to pop it back in and suddenly got an awful feeling....simultaneously, Addison rolled over and came plummeting down off of the changing table with her head hitting the corner of the drawer. She fell into it  face first. I thought I was going to pass out with the size of the bruise she had. I got ice on it, cried, and also thanked God that she wasn't badly hurt. She fell into a drawer with LOTS of clothes to cushion the fall. We shook it off and headed to Lala and Papa's for a green shin dig! The show must go on, right?

Craft time for the girls. I made poster boards for each of them with a rainbow and their names. Each had a bowl full of fruit loops and lucky charms to glue onto their rainbows.
