We've had to do some extensive testing lately with Sydney's hearing. We've determined she has some hearing loss in her right ear at a very high frequency. Shouldn't be any issues for her hearing things, but they can't explain why it might have happened.

Sunrise Park

We went to go have some fun up in Sunrise Park. Monsoon storms come in soooo quickly. They warned us that things may look great as we head up the mountain, and then if lightning strikes, that they shut down the ski lift. Welllllll, we made it up, lightning struck and we were stuck up at the top for a couple hours. They finally sent a van up to get us down! Chris was so excited, he about ran to the van.

 

Horse Back Riding

For her honor roll, Sydney wanted to go horse back riding. We decided to ride in Show Low, since it's cooler and a change of scenery. We did an hour ride, and Syd could've easily gone longer if we could have. 

Show Low Go Carts!

We went to the Family Fun Center to do some go carting! We had a blast, but there's definitely a difference in the speed of the carts. Some just fly and others put put around. Nonetheless, the girls had a blast.

Fourth of July in Show Low

How can she be four already? We had a fun birthday up in Show Low with the riding in the golf cart for the Torreon parade, hiding from the heat in our car for the Show Low parade, fireworks at the library. All so much fun!
