Trick or Treating

We hosted the neighborhood trick or treating party this year. I'm pretty bummed that I didn't get pictures of all my cool decorations! I had a dungeon floor in our entry foyer, a gigantic spider in a web blocking the hallway to our master bedroom. I had a hanging skeleton in the hallway and lots of other cool ones that no one will remember since I got way too busy before the party. Waaah!!!! Oh well, next year! It was a blast though and everyone brought food, which, looking back, we should've just ordered pizza. But we had so much fun!!!

Sadly, here's the one photo I took. A brain in a glass bowl. I promise, the others were much cooler!

October iPhone Pics

For almost a month, we had a pet lizard who would crawl onto our kitchen screen several times a day. Syd would open the window and rub his belly through the screen.

After our nightly walk, Syd pulls out the ATV and rides with me on my cool down

Then gives me a heart attack riding like a maniac. This is why I always make her wear her helmet. Ironically she didn't have it on in the photos. This never happens.

We woke up early and decided to go to the park

As we headed home from the park, we saw Papa and Lala's car at church. We popped in to say hi and get serenaded by Papa.

I think she likes the ravioli

Smores!

Syd and her Dad had a lot of adventures hiking. They've even tried to master the selfies :)

U of A basketball game. Go Cats!!!

Shenanigans

This whole series cracks me up, I have no choice but to post several of them

On this day, I was driving and suddenly I heard an odd noise coming from the back seat. I turn around and Addison had vomited alllll over herself, her car seat...and pretty much the whole car. I turned around, went back home. I got her out of the car, stripped her shirt off, then as I was attempting to take her car seat out of the car, I look....and she's gone!!! I run down the driveway and spot her RUNNING down the middle of the street. All I could see was her red pants. I bolt after her (which she finds extremely funny) and get her back to the house. She's safe in the garage now, after getting completely scolded. So then, she walks to the other side of the car and climbs her sisters ATV all by herself...another very proud moment for her. Mommy needs a time out!

Pumpkin Carving!

No one loves pumpkin carving night more than Chris..... haha He's always a good sport about it, but truth be told, I just can't clean out four or five pumpkins by myself. Have you seen the size of my wrists? They're pretty pathetic, if I say so myself. The trick this year was figuring how to have Addison decorate her pumpkin. Thankfully I found some pretty cool pumpkin stickers, so she was completely down with stickerizing her pumpkin!

Spooky Gingerbread House

Sydney picked out a pretty spooky gingerbread house to make this year. I was especially excited because this was the first year that she could decorate most of the house by herself! We came up with the decorations together and then I helped her finish all the little details in the end. As usual, it was a lot of fun and it looked pretty fabulous!
