Snow in a Can

Out here in the desert, our kids don't ever get to play with snow. So while shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond, I happened to see a CAN of snow! How could I ever resist buying this for them to play with? Heck, I wanted to play with it myself!!!

Mixing up the mixture for the kids to play with. I'm fairly certain, this is simply a can full of the little crystals you find inside of baby diapers.

Mom was asking for it. Sooooo, I threw a snow ball at her. More like I threw a slush glob at her.

Whatever it was, Syd was loving it.

Thanksgiving in Prescott

Mom and Dad decided they wanted to head to Prescott this year for Thanksgiving. So, we decided that we wanted to tag along with them. Spend the holiday with some cooler weather. I can only hope that one day when my girls are older and have families of their own, that they love spending time with Chris and I still, the way we do with my parents. We had such a lovely, laid back Thanksgiving.

Before we headed up to Prescott, the kids decided to take a spin on the four wheeler. Addison completely loved it and Syd is the best big sister and went slow for her so that she didn't jerk around. Big smiles!!

Little Sister Big Sister Girl Scout Event

We decided to go to the Little Sister Big Sister Girl Scout event at Reid Park to do a few crafts, sing songs and get Sydney a Big Sister! We first just set up blankets in the grass/dirt, at our snacks and then everyone got into groups depending on what they were looking for...individual sisters or group sisters. The girls all did a few swap crafts and made new friends. Overall, they had a lot of fun, I just wish there were more girls that went!
